A tear was runnign down the little princess´s cheake. Inside her there was a feeling of emptyness, despite she had everything. Her parents, the King and the Queen spoiled her with the nicest things you could ever imagine. They wanted her to e the happiest in the world, but the little princess knew that happiness could not be bought with money. Human loneliness could not be replaced by things.
All of the other childrens in the Land Far Far Away was playing in the dirty streets, were the princess was not allowed play because then her expensive clothes could get dirty. No one of the others children ever wanted to play inside, so the princess could only watch the others childrens games and laughs.
The others children was talking about her behind her back. No one of them wanted to comitt her stupid rules about playing inside, she just thoght that she was more than the others because of her fancy clothes and new things. She could suit herself for being alone, or she could just soft up a bit and play with them on the streets.
One day a new family moves in to the land Far Far Away. There was a mother, a father and their two children. Despite a younger boy, there was a girl about the same age as the princess. Everyone in the Land Far Far Away was curious about the new family since it was very rare that someone ever moved in.
It was one day when the little princess sat on the side and glanced at the other children who was running around, when she say the new girl sitting a few meters away. She walked over to the little girl to simply ask her why she did not play with the others. The simple answer she got stunned her. How could one choose freely to play inside? The princess sat down next to the little girl and they started talking, and as soon they started they could not stop.
The little girl and the princess became best friends. They shared everything with each other, and it was not a single day that they had not met or talked. The princess was so happy. The loneliness was swept out of her body and she was filled with luck and smiles. All her fancy things became alive, they wore all worth it when the princess was happy. Her sad and grey world had been painted.
Winter became spring and spring became sommer and the years went on even though the princess stood still in time. The little girl had became her other half and the princess felt completed for the first time in her life. Finally the princess one day realised she had grown up. No one was playing on the street anymore, no one was a child anymore and now everyone, even herself, was going to start in a new bigger school. But the princess was not either nervous or scared about this- she had the best friend in the world.
Everyone she had grown up with was there the very first day, in the new big school, in another town where noone ever has been before. The between her and the other children from the Land Far Far Away felt bigger than ever when they sat down in the different corner of the classroom. Even though, nothing could make her feel sad or doubtful about herself. She smiled at the girl who sat on her left side. She had the best friend in the world.
Soon the princess realised that everyone, even people she did not knew or had met before, knew about her and who she was. Her whole childhood had consisted of loneliness, despite the years after the little girl had moved in and became her friend. To be the one everybody talked about and wanted to be with was certainly something the princess was not used to. But for her the new firends never meant more than the little girl, still she was the best friend ever and it was she who had saved the princess from the loneliness she was jailed in.
In the same way the princess got popular among the pupils, soon also everybody talked about the princess' friend- the little girl. In contrast to the little princess reaction, the little girl now started slip away from the princess. Everyday she disappeared more and more with her new friends instead of spending time with the princess in school. She chosed other places in the classroom and selected others to do group work with. And then one day she just ignored the princess.
The princess became so sad that she could not even hide it. The more she tried the worse it went and evetually the princess locked herself in the toilets and cried. She had repressed the feeling of being lonely and when it came back to her she collapsed inside. All the happiness she had felt disappeared out with every tear.
The princess came to school the day after, even tough her face was grey and her eyes red by tears. Everybody saw hos sad and tortured the little princess now were. She walked like ghost and the only one who was there to hold her hand was the loneliness again. All the children from the Land Far Far Away, who hd ignored her and talked about her behind her back, now in fact felt sorry for the pincess. They saw how humane she was even tough she was spoiled. They finally realised that just because someone had many and expensive things it did not mean that the person was snobbisch and haugthy. Lastly all the children from the Land Far Far Away wanted to and also became very good friends with the princess.
On the whole the children now had learn that e person's personality does not pretend on how many things och how much money the person has. So what I wanted to say with this little story it that everybody is just humans and we most get to know a person before she can judge him or her.
